KODE
We build software for construction. Narrow tools that go deep where the big platforms stay shallow — site capture, document control, project data. Each product is proof of what we can do. The advisory work is where it pays off: telling construction firms what AI is actually worth to them, and building it when it is.
The industry's answer to fragmented software was to buy fifteen tools and staple them together. We'd rather build three that work.
The rollups sell you a suite and a five-year contract. We sell you a tool that does one job properly — and the freedom to walk away from it. No lock-in. No platform tax.
Products
Sitetour 360
360° site tours, tagged to the drawing and the date. The site as it actually was — not as anyone remembers it at the final account.
Open spec →KODE Advisory
AI for construction firms, from the team that ships the tools. What to build, what to buy, what to leave alone. Strategy you can hold someone to.
Read the brief →Sitetour Diary
Legally-compliant mobile site diary for UK contractors. Complete a timestamped, signed PDF record in under five minutes at end of shift — contemporaneous evidence that holds up under NEC4 and JCT.
ClearSpan
Project intelligence platform that connects siloed data — diaries, design documents, RFIs, programme files — into a queryable knowledge layer for each project. Early warning before the delay hits the programme.
We build proof,
then advise.
Most AI consultants have never shipped the thing they're telling you to buy. We have. KODE Advisory puts the same engineers who built Sitetour 360 in front of your business — to work out what's worth building, what's worth buying, and what to leave well alone.
About
KODE is a small engineering shop in Manchester. We pick narrow problems in construction that the generalist platforms have given up on, and we build the tool that solves them properly.
Deep, not broad. One job done well beats ten done adequately and billed monthly. The products you see here are what that looks like.
We started building software because the tools on our own jobs kept losing the plot at the worst moment — the 5pm reissue, the 400-RFI week, the handover nobody prepared for.
The advisory practice grew out of that. Once you've shipped, people start asking what else is possible. We answer honestly, and we stay accountable for the outcome — not the slide deck.
